Cherry Swissie - Cherry, Cherry Lady Slimline Card

Hello dear crafty friends!  Melina is here! For my today’s inspiration I used again the cute set "Dessert Swissie" from the February Release but this time I took the second swissie fom the set.At the next picture you have a closer look at the colored cherry swissie. I colored her with Polychromos. The inspiration for this card is the swissie itself or better her cherry. As I saw her I had suddenly a melody in my head, calling - Cherry, cherry lady… its a part of one popular song from the 90ies. And thats why you can see this quote on the card....

Sweater Swissie

Hi Everyone, Melissa here. I just love the new 'Swissie' release.  For my card I have used one of the 'Sweater Swissies', she is just so cute. To create the background, I have placed a stencil onto a piece of Kraft card.  I then applied white pigment ink with a small blending brush.  I dried it with a heat gun, then moved the stencil slightly to the righten then applied Kitch Flaming Distress ink.  I then added Picked Raspberry Distress Ink in small areas to add depth.  Allow this too dry. Stamp 'Sweater Swissie' and the 'Stool' onto X-Press It...

Flower Power with a Groovy Swissie

Hello dear crafty friends!  Melina is here today! For my next inspiration I used the cute set "Groovy Swissie" from the February Release. I love all of the swissies Christine has created! And the I’ll try to prepare more card inspirations with them.I actually prefer to color with Copics but newly I decided to challenge myself by using Polychromos from Faber-Castell. Trying new coloring medium wasn‘t challenging enough for me so I decided to use a no-line coloring technique in the swissie colorings for the whole Release. So I put myself two challenges at the same time. At the next picture you have...
