We're All Mad Here!

You may think I'm mad as, believe it or not, I have never watched Alice in Wonderland.  None of the many versions that have been released.  But I do know of and love the Cheshire Cat, and although the character is a symbol of wisdom and guidance, he's always looked a little bonkers to me.

I started by stamping the Exclamation background on white paper.  I also used the postage die to cut a window out of the black and white striped cardstock.  Choosing a standard rectangle with the size I needed, I cut a window in pink cardstock and layered it behind the front.  I then assembled the shaker window.

I stamped and colored the Cheshire Cat with Copic markers (colors listed below) and fussy cut him out. I die cut the Bonkers word and shadow and glued the cat to the top. I used foam tape to adhere him to the face of the card. I printed the sentiments from my computer, layered them on matching paper and adhered them to the front with foam tape.  Lastly, I added some black and pink enamel dots.
Thank you for visiting our blog - have a great day!
Cheers, Cari
